Inside a Digital Conference System: Chairman Units, DSP, and Secure Wireless

What separates a purpose-built conference system from a room full of microphones - chairman priority, delegate units, echo-free DSP audio, and built-in voting.

Board meetings, senate sessions, and council hearings have a specific audio problem: many people around a large table, each of whom must be heard clearly, with an order to the discussion that the room itself should help enforce. A general-purpose PA system with shared microphones does none of that well.
